Description of Practice
As a Peace Partner to businesses, Hilary Bendon of HXB LLC, helps create open, clear, and effective communication within organizations. More specifically, she helps point leadership teams and individuals within an organization in a cohesive direction, particularly when there are disagreements, discord, or misunderstandings.
Hilary and her team work with employees and management to increase employee engagement through active conflict resolution, communication and conflict coaching. They help facilitate Ways of Working agreements among employees and with teams. Hilary has worked in the areas of organizational and leadership development, strategy, and conflict resolution for over 27 years, helping organizations to structure themselves, their policies, and their commitment to serving employees to create exceptional business outcomes.
HXB offers conflict resolution through mediation, coaching, facilitation and consultation. HXB also serves as a Workplace Ombuds for small to medium size companies.
Professional Background
Hilary has over 25 years experience in the fields of organizational and leadership development. Over the past 5 years, she has focused on conflict resolution in the workplace, providing immediate conflict solutions, preventive conflict coaching and facilitation and follow-on services addressing systemic organizational issues which may exist.
Hilary has worked in a variety of industries, including retail, manufacturing, financial services, biotech/pharmaceuticals, government and nonprofits.
Experience
Since 2018, Hilary has dedicated her time to resolving conflicts in the workplace. She has resolved numerous conflicts and has implemented a variety of interventions for one-time and continuing clients.
Degrees
Hilary holds a Master of Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University’s Caruso Law School and a Master of Public Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. She also received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and Special Education Teaching Credentials from Chapman University.
